Mettam joined Lincoln`s Centre of Excellence as an under-14 before the 2000/01 season and was handed a scholarship 3 years later . A natural forward and a great future lies ahead for the youngster. After a string of consistent performances for the youth and reserve teams he was given his first taste of League football as a substitute in the Imps first game of 2006 aginst Mansfield . On consulting both Lee Frecklington and Keith Alexander about Leon, neither hid their disbelief that Drury had secured the signature of such a talented striker at Stamord's level. Mettam actually scored against the Daniels in their pre season friendly last season.
Mark came through the Coventry City youth Academy. The tall defender captained the Coventry youth team to victory in the FA Youth Cup in 1999.
However, he failed to get a chance at senior level as Gordon Strachan opted to dismiss the youth and agreed to release him on a free to Exeter in July 2000.
Returned to nearer his Northamptonshire home and signed for Rothwell Town in September 2002 but switched to King's Lynn only a month later. Transferred to Histon in September 2004 and then Arlesey Town two months later. However, his travels continued with spells at Corby Town, St Neots Town, Hemel Hempstead Town and Corby again in February 2005. After helping the Steelmen to promotion via the Southern league play-offs, he moved the short distance to Kettering Town in May 2006 but returned to the Steelmen shortly after for the 2006/07 season.

Born 30th August 1975 in Doncaster Tony Started his career with Sheff Utd before also playing for Southend and Notts Co who paid £200,000 for his signature in 1996. After spells with Bury and Lincoln City who's club record signing is still the £75,000 they paid Bury for Battersby in 1998, and Boston United Tony joined Conference side Stevenage Borough in 2003. In February 2004 he moved to Gravesend but an injury quickly ended his time there. Two seasons with Grays followed before Tony joined AFC Wimbledon in March 2006 Dons boss Dave Anderson said after securing his signature "It is no secret that I have been after a big centre-forward and Tony certainly fits the bill. He has a wealth of league experience and will give us another dimension - a different option to what we have at the club already." . Soon after he joined Chelmsford City before joining Welling United on loan until the end of the season.
Began his career with Leicester City, before moving to Bolton Wanderers in August 2003, Ryhs played Under-17, Under-19 and Under-21 level for Wales. Rhys spent three seasons with Bolton. He was sent-off for Wales U17 against Israel in a Uefa Youth Championship qualifier in Portugal, in March 2004. Powell joined Hucknall Town for the start of the 2006/07 season, after just one start and two substitute appearances Rhys joined Hednesford Town in November 2006. He made just one appearance for the Pitmen. Powell then joined AFC Telford United, although he failed to break into the first team. Rhys made his Grantham debut at home to Frickley Athletic in a 0-0 draw. After an unhappy stay with the Gingerbreads Rhys joins his brother to sign for the Daniels.
Signed for King's Lynn in January 2005 having been given a free transfer by Hinckley united. Newark born he joined Leicester as a 16 year old and spent seven years there, making five appearances including a goal on his debut against Port Vale and one Premiership appearance against Wimbledon. He moved on to Cambridge United in March 1999 where he made three appearances before joining Stevenage in the summer of that year. He went on to become extremely popular there making 108 appearances plus six as substitute scoring 11 goals, but his career was dogged with injury, including a cruciate ligament in his left knee away at Hereford, which led to him being released. He went to appear for Kettering and then Burton Albion on trial in December 2003 for whom he subsequently signed, going on to make 13 starts plus three appearances as substitute. Uncertainties about his fitness saw him released by Burton and he then joined Hinckley United in May 2004 where he made19 starts for The Knitters, scoring two goals.
He was released by Leicester City despite making over 40 reserve team appearances during a four-year stay with the Foxes. A versatile 5'11' player who has played in a variety of positions for both club and country, Powell has also had a spell with Derby County's Academy. He has 9 Welsh caps at U17 level, 11 at U19, 1 at U20 and 9 with the Under-21 side for which he is still eligible. Released by Alfreton Town in the summer. Has joined Stamford from Conference North outfit Hucknall Town.
