Stamford Youth AFC “The Young Daniels”

Stamford AFC is pleased to announce the formation of its Youth Policy to supplement the current Under 18 Youth Team. From the early stages of last season Club Officials have been creating a financially independent youth constitution that will offer an educational football service to membership players and local community.

Guy Walton, Director of Youth Football, commented “we are delighted that The Club has welcomed the adoption of a youth structure and thank Bob Feetham and The Board of Directors, Graham Drury, Andy Drummond and Dave Smith for all their support in establishing this Club initiative.”

“We have a long term strategy to create a programme of developing young players both technically and socially allowing them to fulfil their football potential and personal aspirations”

“Dave Vaughan will head a coaching team that we will enhance with like minded Coaches who agree with our principles of nurturing the vigour’s of youth football!”

The Club confirms squads will be coached at Under 11,15 and 18 this season in addition to the current under 18, Northants floodlight league youth team.

A Summer Soccer School is planned for Boys & Girls aged between 4 and 12 years of age commencing Thursday 26th July for a period of six weeks. Details are available from Glenn Vaughan Tel: 07880703784
